Message Interface

 

The FRDS GEN III Message Interface features a color OLED display behind anti-reflective glass. It provides insight on fluid quantity, door position, coverage level parameters, and alert indicators. While originally designed for FRDS GEN III, it has agricultural applications as well.

The Message Interface can also be upgraded to a Pilot Interface that offers additional functionality. This adds an enclosure that has additional military spec switches to provides alternative functionality or shortcuts to the Message Interface.

  • 320x240 pixel color IPS LCD behind anti-reflective glass.

  • 1X push button rotary encoder.

  • 5 push buttons with backlighting.

    • MARK, DISTRESS, MENU, HOME, MSG.

  • LED status indicators.

    • DIST, GPS, SAT, E-DUMP, GATE CLOSED, ARM, TIME.

  • 1X IP67 industrial M12, 1X 9pin Dsub & 1X 15pin Dsub connectors.

  • 1X processor interface access ports (microUSB).

Functions

  • Show the foam and main hopper fluid quantity.

  • Provide status on the door over-center and latched position as well as that the e-dump handle is properly positioned.

  • Adjustment of drop parameters (Coverage Level & Split).

  • A menu system to facilitate the adjustment of various system settings.

  • Provide maintenance support functions (not typically accessed by the pilot).

  • Show system status and alerting functions.
